Safari Turning Into Bug Hunt

Well, I spoke too soon. I upgraded to Safari 14 yesterday and was enjoying the new quickness. But then things started not working.

First was that Disqus based forums are now constantly making me sign in over and over.

Now the Bank Of America page wants to keep reloading so I cannot log in.

Hmmm change bank or change browser?

I'll start with the simple things like clearing cache etc.

Having the same problems. Can't get sites like Macworld, ESPN, and CNN to load.

Interesting. I just loaded each of those up with no problems (didn't look at anything on their pages though) ... wonder if you guys should clear the cache, etc.

I can load MW, CNN and ESPN with no problem. I found a few other reports of the issue with BofA on Reddit.

I disabled Javascript and that allowed the page to load, however the login process would not work. It looks like its Chrome or iPhone for banking for now.

I've cleared cache. The sites load but after a couple seconds I get the "this webpage was reloaded because a problem occurred". It'll does this a couple times then the page shuts down from reloading too many times.

I have iOs 10.13 set to block cookies and get similar behavior, try tweaking privacy settings.

This is Safari 14 for macOS, accepting all cookies, nothing blocked.

Right, and Safari 14 now blocks cross site and third party cookies by default, which are also blocked by the iOS setting which I reference, so play around with tweaking privacy settings.

I've got everything set as open as it can be.

Looks like people are reporting problems loading certain pages on the Apple web forums. One frequently mentioned one is YouTube, but I just tried that and it worked fine. Also I'm seeing a number of people saying that a reboot was necessary to get things working properly.

No problems with those sites (or any others so far) here.
