You should.
Wife and I saw season 1 Friday, Season 2 last night. Had a great time. Lotsa fun....

Yesterday Afternoon, while doing lawn/yard work, I listed to

Rolando,

Crazy as it sounds, Cobra Kai is one of the best shows on TV and not even just for the nostalgia. Great characters. Good storyline. Love that there is good, bad and a nice mix of both in everyone.

I've been watching since the first episode.

Zabka was great and I was hooked.

This has been in my queue for a month or so and is up next fer sure. There's also a great music video that's basically the prequel to this, video written and directed by Billy Zabke (Johnny). They basically recreated everything from the movie and updated the storyline. Also lots of great interviews on the yt with him, Ralph and other cast members if you search. Here's the song, it is good, Enjoy!

I watched the first episode last week and found it a bit cheezy. No one else feels the same? Or does it get less cheezy with later episodes?

I watched the first season and liked it - didn't love it. I though the idea of reversing good guy/bad guy was awesome, but the execution felt a little clunky. It went to the obvious conclusion that I enjoyed mildly, but it never occurred to me that there would be a second season. I thought the story ended and I was fine with that. I might try season two if I get really bored some day, but there is lots of stuff I want to watch first.

I thought Season 1 was cheesy good fun, Season 2 also started out okay but jumped the shark during the final episode.

I will wait for reviews on Season 3...

This is what peaked my interest when I first heard about the show. I was so psyched to check it out. Similar to the Broadway adaptation of "Wicked", where the Green Witch is actually good (but misunderstood) and Glinda is a self-centered snob. LOL!

I haven't seen it, but it was filmed in Atlanta. A friend was the manager at the AMC theater at the mall they used. He has pics of himself with Ralph Machio.

Daniel-san's house (the one they use for exterior shots) is about a mile away from mine. They also shot a few scenes in a Mexican place right down the street from us, but it's since been demolished.

This show was exactly the right mix of serious and cheesy that I like... It certainly doesn't take itself too seriously (a huge gripe of mine about most TV, especially the action-adventure shows.) I only really have two complaints - the gratuitous juvenile graffiti bit coupled with the peer online abuse experienced by Daniel-san's daughter afterwards... exclude that and it's a very family friendly show. Well, except the intermittent swearing.

Then there's the shocking ending which I won't spoil. I wish that could have been a different outcome, and seems to pull the emotional rug out from the well-liked restaurant scene.
