Looks interesting & apparently there are no fees involved until you sell.

There are no commissions when you buy stocks online through Schwab Stock Slices,
just the same as if you traded regular stocks. An exchange processing fee applies
when you sell a stock(s), and certain securities may be subject to other fees and expenses.

What do they charge when you sell??? They did not specify that

Many houses offer free trades these days. I would avoid fees as much as possible. Fees kill the deal for small trades.

Fidelity does the same thing. I found it irritating because I bought some ETF's on my computer that ended up with partial shares. That was fine. But when I sold them, they would only sell full shares from my computer; I ended up with things like .435 of a share left that was worth $20. I read about it and I had to sell partial shares on my iPad or iPhone, not the computer. I did that but didn't like them extra step.

From what I remember in the past disposing of partial shares with Fidelity, it was possible to do through the website IF you were selling ALL Shares that the account held in that security instead of entering a quantity. Otherwise they only worked with whole shares.
