The brighter your lights, the better image quality you will be for video conferences. 2700k tends to be a warmer yellow light, 5000k is a neutral light, higher than 5000k tends to look more blue tone. I cover lighting in this link [www.modern.place]

Outdoors, enclosed fixture, dimmable, and 1600lumen/100W equivalent for ~$1.50/ea? That's pretty damn good.

I don't need more bulbs <rocks aimlessly in corner> I don't need more bulbs...

Sooo. If a light fixture is rated for a 60 watt lightbulb, can you use one of these in that fixture, 'cause it only uses 15 watts, even though its a 100 watt equivalent?

Fixture ratings are for power use to limit concentrated heat sources, not for how bright the light is in Lumens (though a 15 Watt laser can start a fire).

Nice that they are 1600 Lumens for 15 Watts, almost 107 Lumens/Watt. CRI is 82, which is just over the recommended rating of 80.

I wonder which bulb temperature rating would be better for video conferencing with the average camera sensor?

If the camera adapts white balance properly, more blue light should be better as noise levels in the 3 RGB channels are notably higher and more noticeable in the Blue channel than the Green and even the Red.

Where camera sensors get tripped up is mixed lighting. The sensor needs to pick one color to balance for.

Scenario 1: Mixed 2700k and 5000k bulbs in a room. The result is the camera choosing to balance for the warmer bulb by adding blue values. If it pick to balance for 5k, the 2700k will look yellow.

Scenario 2: All bulbs are 2700k. The sensor may ad blue to the image to balance out the warmer 2700k. Some cameras don’t fully balance this warmer color cast or only partially correct. You may end up with a yellow tinge.

Scenario 3: All bulbs are 5000k balanced. The sensor should be balanced and not compensate for any color cast because 5k is right around neutral light color.

How so? I just ordered a set for $25 at 6 AM on 9/25. It has a coupon that needs to be applied.

Sam, thank you for your post!

I completely missed the promo code, though I did scour the AMZ web page for a coupon.

Bottom line, once again, I'm going broke saving money.
