I got the AW 1 as soon as it dropped and then got a refurb AW 2 three years later. I sold the latter 2 weeks ago and have been feeling naked without it, but, no more!

My navy blue aluminum with the navy solo loop arrived yesterday. The watch is beautiful and the loop is very comfortable though when I first looked at it I thought it was too small but it stretched easily over my hand and is secure but not too tight on my wrist. I used the sizing sheet that Apple has.

I’m still learning about it but so far I’m very pleased.

Nice! My wife is going from Series 1 to Series 6, she also selected the nice blue aluminum.

Are the colors in-person at all like what the photos show online?

The band color is very nice deep blue. It’s hard to see the blue on the watch itself as the front glass is black and it’s just the side edge you see. I’m very happy with the color. As for pics, I’ll have to add later after doctor appointment. Sorry

Add me to the list of new AW6 owners! I also got the blue aluminum, but with the hybrid navy/olive sport band. I tried on the solo loop, it felt too much like a rubber band, I didn't like how it went on and off my wrist. I was going to get the braided loop as it felt really comfortable, even though that is $50 more, but the store didn't have my size.

The thing is, I really wanted to get the blue, my daughter and I had been in the store this past Friday, she was the one that wanted to look at the AW6. I'm the one who almost walked out of the store with one, except the stock was not accurate and they didn't have the blue 44mm. But I ended up trading in my AW4, so I felt naked all week. That's why I took what they had in stock, with the hybrid colored sport band. Interestingly, the only way to get that band is to buy it as a package with the blue watch. It is not available separately.

If you have a local Apple store, go visit it, you may get the watch you want. Don't trust Apple's web site. It was saying that there wasn't stock of any AW6 in any store withing 250 miles of me, and that online ordering shipment date was between Nov 18-Nov24. The person who helped me said they get shipments of stuff regularly, but they don't know what is in the shipment until they unpack things. This is why they had what I wanted when I walked in.

I've decided I'm going to get one...eventually. We're also considering getting one for the wife. My go-to choice for EVERYTYHING Apple related is space gray. But I'm rethnking that for a watch. I don't know what I'd pick.

Same here. If you are having trouble with activating the watchface on your 4, try a fresh install. That solved my issues - at least so far. AFAIK, this was a problem from the start. Took me months to realize this was not working properly as this was my first Apple Watch.

I have my 6 to hide the face. It pops up very quickly when I rotate my wrist.
