Amazing picture of an Agami Heron Date: September 30, 2020 01:38PM |
Spotted this on twitter - wow!
Meet the Agami Heron! You'd think that its ornate plumage would make it easy to spot, but it’s known to keep very still for long periods of time as it waits for fish to come near, making it difficult to find in its wetland habitats in C. & S. America.

I'm not saying it's alien...
It is kind of creepy in how it gets it's coloring, but like that gorgeous heron, it to is beautiful, albeit in a sort of grotesque way.
