"Social Dilemma" is the story behind the algorithms that drive the tech industry's cash machine.

If five folks from five different states go to Wikipedia and type in "climate change", there will be the same definition for all five.

Go to Goggle and do the same, the suggestions found will be different for each of the five.

That might seem obvious but when you appreciate the granular nature of how these changes start to manipulate the user-us-well, social media starts looking scary.

i found the doc well done, informative and thought provoking.

I started fast forwarding through the dramatizations. Seemed like padding an hour documentary to two.
