Upgraded to Catalina - can't turn off notification sound in News app

In Notification preferences, I can't find an option to turn sound off for News, though I see that option for many other apps.

Before the upgrade, I saw the notification but had no sound when a new story came in.

Any ideas?

News is a subscription service. If you subscribe you will be given the choice to turn it off. Apple is clever that way.

SysPref/Notifications/News/. Last option in right-hand column.
