I'm in the half looking for a new phone. I have an iPhone 6s+ that is rock solid, but with the original battery, I feel I'm on borrowed time. Still works fine enough. We'll see if the new models are compelling enough for me to make the jump up.

I don’t know how it compares. I know people are holding onto their phones longer now that there are fewer carrier subsidy offers (I did snag three iPhone 11’s for $5/mo. x 30 months from an AT$T offer.)

When announcing that Lidar was coming to iPhone Pro. I thought he was talking about Lytro. Hadn't heard that name in years. The camera startup from 10 years ago that developed a way to refocus on a different subject after the fact. And also not to be confused with Liger. A lion and tiger crossbreed, bred for its skills in magic.
