If you don’t have a pulse oximeter, get one. Amazon next day. Then check your levels several times a day.

My daughter had it in July. Headache and low grade fever were the first symptoms. After a few days the headache disappeared and extreme fatigue set in. And some stomach distress. She felt awful for 2 weeks. It really got to her psychologically as illnesses don’t stay at peak this long. After 2 weeks she had a few days of joint pain. Fortunately that didn’t last long.

Hang in there, eat good food, drink lots, and have loads of patience. If your blood oxygen levels dip, head to the ER.

Pulse oximeter, like Pam said. Harass your Doc for the best care possible. You'll get thorough this hopefully with little more than a blinkache.

I know you chopper and I know that you're gonna fight this thing HARD! Stay on it. It can come back when you are unsuspecting. Beat it up, shoot it, dismember it then put it into a garbage bag and throw it in a river!

I've been having mild symptoms - just called Kaiser - they are blaming the flu shot I had 5 days ago. They don't even want me to get a test

Yes, there are cheaper pulse-ox meters out there, but this is a good deal for a bluetooth one. I have this one and like it.

Last Wed I was in for a physical and got the Flu and Shingles shot on the way out. Had a reaction about 10 hours later that night, chills and fever, and the injection site was very sore, but NO respiratory symptoms.

Looked up the vaccine side effects on the CDC site, they matched what I was experiencing and could last 2-3 days. And they did, so I didn't feel any need to think it was COVID.

I'm also scheduled for a COVID test next Monday as a requirement for a colonoscopy next Thursday.

We started with these after a Fauci mention back in late Spring and have been distributing to friends and family since. Above all don't wait to get help if the readings drop below 90.

Good luck and well wishes.

Some of my family members have gone through the COVID. One aunt and her family, a cousin (different aunt) and his family.
The rest are still ok. (7 aunts and 1 uncle). None of my siblings (6 of us) or their children/grandchildren. One works in healthcare.

Anyone know if you can submit these against an HRA as a medical device? I would think yes, but I've never tried to make a claim for something that wasn't from a Pharmacy or Dr. Office.

Basic (non-Bluetooth) Pulse-ox meter is sub $20 so not a big deal if you can't use the HRA.

I've never heard that exact expression, but around my neck o' the woods, it's an older term for fast or quick.

More common is the word fleeting, as in a fleeting moment.

I don't know chopper, but clicking on his "Show all posts" link I see 90% of his postings are 2-3 sentences. And he doesn't come across as a jokey type of guy. So i have to assume this is not a bad joke or haphazard remark.

I remember early-on in the pandemic people were being turned away at the hospital and clinics because their symptoms were not "bad enough". Come back when you can barely walk and struggling to breathe. But this was when ICUs were swamped. If this is not the case anymore, don't delay — go to the hospital. If turned away, go to another one. You are your own best advocate.

I'm not sure how we got it. My wife and son both have it too. Son is 13 and it slowed him down for one day.

... my wife has had pneumonia twice since 1994 and once when she was a teen. She's the one I am worried about. We are all still at home.

I've never done LSD but the fever dreams seem like the kind of stuff you'd see on LSD.

My son, and most of his friends have contracted a nasty cold that had him feverish for about 36 hours. All were tested for flu and covid and were negative.

Feel as good as you can under the circumstances, recover quickly and recover 100%! Think of it this way. You and Covid-19 are in a nasty fight. It ain't gonna kick your ass. You're going to beat it down to the point that it'll NEVER EVER EVER CONSIDER COMING BACK. Same goes for the rest of the family. Keep us updated.
