Did SNL fire their writers?

I don't understand it, the show is actually funny tonight so far.
Lorne must have fired all the writers and brought in a bunch with actual talent.
We'll see when Weekend update comes on.
Right now that internet fool with the tattoos is singing. I've got it on mute.

I thought the talent was weak on that one. The 80's Cocaine wife was good, though. Also 10% of the jokes were okay. The rest were 'regrettable'.

Issa Rae is worth watching. I have the first season of Insecure on my hard drive. Time to binge it tomorrow.
