I've had this problem too with those cans.
I usually just dispose of it. Use something else, then break down and buy another can until it happens again…

I buy the a big bottle of white vinegar and a big bag of baking soda from Costco, and these two combined are aces at tough cleaning job.

Scrubbing Bubbles is okay if users know to try to minimize what goes down the drain on a daily basis. Vinegar and baking soda are sometimes not enough. In the first year at my current place, it was the first time in my life that I used up a pumice stick on my toilets. I started using Lysol Lime & Rust after I noticed it had twice as much shelf space as any other.

How old is the can? Is it de-pressured or is the nozzle plugged? My experience is that it is the latter. If you are very careful, it is possible to de-pressure the can and pour the contents into a 'chemically resistant' spray bottle. Even so, it is usually a good idea to drain and flush/rinse out the trigger assembly after every use.

•You may be holding it wrong. LOL

There's a tube inside to make sure you get to last bit of content before the gas runs out.

Many such cans have a index mark on the area where the cap snaps on to show you where the nozzle should be pointed.

If so, you want to ensure it's aligned each time you use it.

Holding the can with the nozzle pointed away from that point (marked or not) and holding it at too steep of an angle will let more gas and less content escape.

•I rinse the sprayer after use in the hopes that it prevents buildup and clogging.

•Sometimes when a can sits too long it loses pressure, though that doesn't sound like your problem.

•Sometimes a can may be resuscitated a bit by putting it in hot water (from the tap to avoid a dramatic reaction).

Maybe just try to ensure the can is held very near vertical at all times and see if that changes the life expectancy.

You may know all this already.
