You should see some of the TiBooks that have come my way. They look like Arnold Schwarzenegger thought they were foldable.

or boxed then run over by a forklift at UPS

Looks like too much compression damage for a bike.

I received one for data recovery which had been in a car accident. It had one of those bends on each side of the case, so the whole thing was smiling. The goddam thing still worked with all those bent components, just the screen was toast. I hope the people were OK.

Run over by a bike.

Not likely.

Not likely.

Not enough compression for run over by a forklift.

Maybe something heavy fell on it and slid or was dragged off?

Whatever it was, it should avoid the potential buyer-claim of "Doesn't work!"

From the stories I got to hear from students who returned damaged library laptops that had borrowed, No you don't really want to know. People are so ingenious at doing stupid things.

For instance there was the MacBook Air returned with a quarter of the keyboard melted or badly warped. Person claimed a hair dryer had fallen on it. They then complained they should not have to be paying the full repair cost because they were not responsible for the water damage noted on the repair invoice.
