OSIRIS-REx dope-slaps asteroid Bennu! Date: October 23, 2020 10:40AM |
NASA's first asteroid sampling mission OSIRIS-REx flew right up to asteroid Bennu, gave it a poke and did its best to collect some of the solar system's oldest materials.
We'll learn how much the spacecraft collected in the coming days, and OSIRIS-REx is scheduled to return the material to Earth in 2023.
