I keep getting texts about every other day saying,
"(randocharacterstring) Google is verifying the phone# of this device as part of setup. Learn more: (goo.gl/webaddy)"
as though my device sent it to 244444.

Followed immediately by the reply, "Service access denied."

This started at the beginning of the month after I nuked and repaved the phone based on T-Mo's tech support suggestion, and their sending us new SIM's. Spousal unit's same phone seemed to verify on first try (only 1 self sent verification message, and no denial).

What's going on?
