I was just watching this, and I wish it had gotten better reviews. A really enjoyable, well-acted thriller. I suspect there was some sexism in the negative reviews....

I really enjoyed it, thought it was terribly underrated.

Not a fan.

Part of the problem might stem from hoping for a film noir thriller, for which The Long Kiss Goodnight would an excellent name.

I like action movies a lot.

This seemed as though someone storyboarded a bunch of action scenes and turn them over to someone else to stitch together without any guidance or direction.

"Have fun with it" comes to mind.

This could apply to a lot of movies I like, except the characters in those usually engage me.

It just never produced the SBD (suspended bubble of disbelief) for me, as much as I like Geena Davis.

I saw it all the way through and once was enough.

There are very few movies that I enjoy/enjoyed that I don't mind seeing again.

No such interest for The Long Kiss Goodnight.

I’m a repeat watcher and fan of this movie. It’s great fun!

I was never a fan of Geena Davis’ acting, but she hit it out of the park in this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed it when it first came out and, occasionally, I borrow the DVD from the library to watch it again. I have NO trouble believing that some government employees would subvert laws to get a bigger budget as well as "bless" known terrorists to further misguided goals.

Yes, I loved it.

I haven't seen it in forever.

Praised by Ebert. No hot va'Geena', but a very capable Nina.

I've been a huge fan of this movie since it was first released on DVD and currently own a Blu-ray copy. I've lost count of the number of people I've turned onto this movie. One of my very favorite late '90s flicks.

I forgot about that, haven't seen it in years, but I think I have a DVD somewhere.

I like Geena in her earlier films, but this did nothing for me.
Never saw another Renny film after this.

When one looks at her catalog, I think it's safe to say this killed her film career.

I think Cutthroat Island gets that dubious honor. It's likely this movie was already in production when CI was released.

I'm glad they decided to move forward with releasing TLKG -- I really enjoy it.
