Anybody here using Eero? Is the security subscription worth it?

I picked up the 3 pack on Prime Day. Completely trivial to set up, so that's good. And I can retire the free router from Verizon.

I already filter ads, and I'm not terribly concerned about malware sites on my Macs. So, I'm wondering what I'd get for my $30/year.

I've skipped the Eero Secure subscription as it is mainly DNS filtering.

I had set up Pi-hole which is somewhat similar, but discontinued it when the family complained too many sites were misbehaving.
