"For security reasons, CheatSheet needs to be code-signed or its updates need to be signed with an EdDSA key. See [sparkle-project.org] for more information."

got this error after dumping the app, cheatsheet. The error shows up intermittently.

can anyone help me get rid of whatever it is I need to get rid of?

I can't find any framework or whatever related to either cheatsheet or sparkle.

go to your library folder and search for CheatSheet or Sparkle, see what's in there.

1st thing I did. Nothing there in either case. At least not under those names.

I hate it when Devs do that.

You might try running Activity Monitor and see if something familiar pokes it's head up from some hidden crevice.

what about the Library folder at the hard drive level? There is a hidden Library folder in your user Home directory and a general Library folder for the entire computer. Check both.

"Check both. "

did that. all 3 actually. User, system, drive.
I tried looking under the dev name too.

Activity Monitor I have not. Good idea.
Wish I could figure what triggered it. So dumb random.

It's weird coz I'd figure other apps are using Sparkle, but Cheatsheet is the only one rearing.

Have you emptied the Trash, shut down, then booted up?

My only experience with Sparkle was back in the 90's when it was a video player.
