Walmart and Target are both selling Otterbox Defender cases for various recent iPhones (7, 8, X, 11, 12, SE2020) for $20. Walmart has them for the 12 mini for delivery tomorrow but Target doesn't show it for the mini. Walmart looks to generally have it available for a wider range of recent iPhones.

I've been using them for years because I like a holster. I drop my phone a couple of times a year and have never had any damage using one of these.

....they are very rugged.....but are bulky.......
