I thought I had a brush with greatness.

I went down to the local Apple Store, to pick up my iPhone case.

Getting out of my car, I saw

at thought I might have a brush with greatness.

I took a quick pic and went into the Apple Store to pick up my case.

There was a huge line, no surprise for a COVID Sunday, but as I decided not to browse, I got sent to the Express line.

When I got out the car was still there, so I thought I'd stalk a bit, while putting my 'Phone in it's clear case.

Facing the opposite direction, after admiring my 'Phone's new clothes, a quick check showed the car and driver sneaked out.

So it seems Brownlee is a Right Coaster, so that probably wasn't him.

Maybe his car.

Maybe somebody got that plate by pure coincidence.

Or maybe they're a fan.

Or maybe they want to pass as Brownlee.

I do know he wasn't in the Apple Store while I was there, or McDonald's at the mall because McD's was closed.

So I didn't get even a brush of a brush with greatness.

On the up side, I love this clear case.

I had no idea who that was either. I could have walked up to him and talked to him and then watch him get into that car and be none the wiser. Teslas are a dime a dozen around here...

I've seen a few videos, but I had no idea who the OP was talking about. The guy does very clear and concise yt video reviews - very professional. Had no idea he was known as a ultimate frisbee player.

LOL, you're not helping, gl!

When I looked up and saw the car was gone, I was more disappointed than I thought I'd be.

He does indeed do great work, and I really liked his interview with Craig Federighi, after the release of iOS 14.

The guy is really good.

Just a few examples of his work:

Of note, conspicuous by their absence, are the shouting, histrionics, stupid mugging for the camera, ridiculous fast cuts, lame mischaracterizations, and dumb hats.

Clear, concise, and best of all, objective and transparent in opinion.

I honestly thought he'd be better known here, otherwise I'd have provided more info.

When our company started into producing our own videos at the outset of the COVID, I started surfing YouTube a LOT more and stumbled on Brownlee and then some of his "friends". Some are very entertaining. I've been watching YouTube a LOT more on my TV now vs my computer.

Is he great in the typical way we think of "great?"

Or is he great in the Ollivander-describing-a-certain-Hogwarts-student in the first HP book "great?"
