If anyone is familiar withe Adobe Premiere Pro 6....

Here I am again...

I can't seem to find a tutorial to explain why, when I import a still image into a video, the color changes from what it looks like when I processed it in Photoshop. The image in the PP6 window is blah-bright reds turn to a dull orange, e.g.

When I play back the finished video, the color is still off. I've saving the still as a TIFF and a JPEG, and I process in Camera Raw with ProPhoto RGB as the colorspace...

Appreciate it!

Wow, either you have good eyes, or I've got a bad monitor, or bad eyes...

I can maybe sense a slight difference, but nothing earth shattering.... is there a chance you're using different color profiles from PS to PP6?

I have experienced the same a few years ago, couldn't get a brand color to match in video. Cannot recall the solution, but first try enabling color management in Premiere. Haven't used PP6 in so long.

Photoshop has a way wider gamut than Premiere. Work in a video-safe colorspace.

I see nothing in PP Prefs about color management. Audio management but nothing about color.

Now I am recalling having to enable 10-bit color in Premiere, many years back. Don't think that is required in the current version. Also know that some codecs might not support 10 bit color.

Got it! In my usual workflow I have been saving all my images as ProPhoto RGB and, the weird thing is that in the Save As window at the bottom, I had ProPhotoRGB checked in the Embed Color Profile window. I unchecked it and the image saved is the bad color rendering that shows up in PP6! I re-opened the image in Camera Raw and changed the ProPhoto RGB color space to sRGB and, when saved, it did the trick!
