Hammered. Something to do with a market crash in China, from what I understand.

China closed at a record high yesterday, but crashed 9% down today as reality set in. It is like a stampede. I wish that I had more money on hand to buy more stock. Buy low. It will go up, just don't know when.

I know sad smiley It started yesterday I think. It always seems like this kinda crap happens at the most inopportune time. I totally thought AAPL was gonna gain tremendously as I believe a number of firms upgraded them just a day or two ago. I think one of them applied a target of ~$120 or something.

Arrrrrgggggh!

The only thing up in my portfolio is VLI and a couple of India and Asian Pacific funds.
But I remember when I was in Japan back in the 80s when we had the Black Oct crash. I just sit and collect dividends.

Buy if Apple gets down more. Nice time to pick up some stocks when the blood runs in the streets. I sold some stuff early this a.m. so I'm looking to add to some positions...just deciding what.

Buying Opportunity!

It's painful to read my portfolio today.... but I'll bet that in 3-4 weeks, the US market will have regained last weeks levels...
Unless China's market COMPLETELY collapses, a-la 1929 Wall Street.

I did rather well after Black Monday in 1987, not so good after March 2001.
