Yup, got a recall notice for the replacement airbag from the 1st recall (2001 BMW).

Eventually every airbag they ever made will be recalled. Followed by every replacement airbag. The technology is not stable in practical real world settings.

They've been denying claims to fix deployed side air bags in Canyon pickup trucks. Apparently, the rollover sensor is too sensitive to off-roading activities, even in the ZR2 which is marketed for off-roading.
