I recently got a Dodge Grand Caravan SE+ 2016. It has UCONNECT voice control and Bluetooth phone pairing. The only thing that bothers me is if I play a video with sound via Facebook and other platforms there is always a 15 second lag. This does NOT happen if I stream music from Spotify, etc. tho. Why does this happen! I’ve installed one update to the UConnnect software but still lag.

I’m stumped.

Mine has about a 1/2 second delay.

The only is suggestion is to unpair them and re-pair. It might be a limitation on the UCONNECT.

We removed the uConnect from our Promaster van and replaced it with a Pioneer. That solved the issue.

15 sec is not normal, but Rolando notes 1/2 sec is more usual for BT audio.

Because BT audio sucks. But also because the audio takes more time to get encoded and processed through the BT circuitry and get sent to the receiver which is decoding. The video, I assume, is playing locally and does not know anything about what is happening with your device audio settings, so has no reason to adjust to remain in sync.

I drive for Lyft and the ONLY time I watch videos are in between rides/stops NEVER while driving.
