We recently purchased a new cell phone, a TracFone Samsung Galaxy A01, that has USB-C. The charger has a short cable, USB-C for the phone connection and USB-A for the charger connection. This cable is too short to be useful and we'd like to get a longer one. Do we have to look for anything specific, other than it having the proper USB plugs? Thanks.

Yup, for basic charging of a phone you don't have to worry about the specs of the cable. It's only when you're dealing with charging larger products, like laptops, where the specs come into play (i.e. does it support 30w, 60w, 87w 100w, and is it USB 2.0 or 3.x for data?).
