I never owned a VIZIO TV. From what I understand, some people love them, some hate them, some say meh

still, impressing how much processionals fell for these large TVs.

We now have four, purchased over the years. Never had the hardware issues some experienced. Sound quality is better than the competition, to my ears at least. And their sound bars are high value and easy to add.

Not a lot of risk with $400 70” model however.

After being burned & making many thrift store donations, I'd only consider:
LG, Samsung, and Sony. You get what you pay for.

My 65" TCL is having its 2nd birthday today. Seems just fine. The new Roku update added Native Airplay.

are they still selling in other markets? For example, if they sold them in Canada, I would be willing to pick one up next time I travel there.

I love our Roku Series 6 as well. Two years old. My only issue is that it seems the Netflix apps hangs from time to time which is annoying.

Id prob pay the same price for a slightly better 65".

that said, no issues with our vizio.. many years old. And our budget TCLs... which stay outside. Looks great.

The real jump is 55 to 65 -- 55" is 1300 sq in, 65" is 1800 sq in and 70" is 2100 sq in -- not that big. If you are gonna go really big... ultimate is the jump to 80 -- which is 2700 sq in, over double a 55"

During this time, our Vizios have been fine but our Panasonic and Samsung TVs have failed twice (each was repaired).

Probably doesn't matter on low-end models but remember Samsung still refuses to support Dolby Vision.

They're all-in for HDR10+ which at this point seems like picking HD-DVD over Blu-ray.

We have 3 Vizios. One has had an HDMI port die on it. It's probably 5-7 years old. The other two are about 2 years old and have had no issues.
