I have been thinking the spread of the common cold is people sneezing. Coughing just breathing and washing your hands and wearing a mask might reduce the chances of catching so any colds.

But lots of colds come from surface-contact (touching a doorknob and then touching your face), and prolonged proximity can negate the effectiveness of a mask. So, keep washing your hands and keep your social distance.

Yes. The cold virus spreads in the same manner as the flu, covid-19 and a zillion other viruses. Proper washing of hands. Face coverings. Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces. Physical distancing. All of these steps will help prevent you from catching a cold (and a slew of other illnesses).

Yes. In Asian countries you often see people wearing masks for this reason. This year it’s the fashion accessory the whole world has embraced.
