I just replaced my 3rd Gen. AirPort Extreme with this. I wish that I had done this sooner, what a difference in my download speeds!

Rob, the setup wasn't bad at all. I did it last night. I kept the same network name. Downloaded the Teather app on my iPhone, I used that for the initial setup. After that I used the web browser interface.

My old MacPro 3,1 is connected to an Airport Express for wifi. I reset the Express, and then added it to the network. I did have to restart my Wyze cameras.

I still want to educate myself to all of the different settings on the C4000, but that probably won't happen for a couple of days.

Curious if you can report on the filtering or any time control in the router software. I have an older TP router but the software isn't good. This in relation to some control vis-a-vis kids.

i am attempting to install the router with a modem from Optimum.

i am imagining that the router is service provider agnostic.

to replace the actual AT&T modem, might be more brand compatible dependent.

but then again, setting up wireless networks is NOT what i do best (or at all!).
