I have mother in law staying with us for about 5 weeks and instead of using her cell phone account with international roaming charges, I signed up OOMA international calling plan. First they show 3 plans on the web site and the name do not quite match what they show in the description. I signed up for what I thought would allow me to call back to Romania to mobile phones ($14.99 plan, World Unlimited). then I checked the rates and it said all types of phones (landline, cell phones) were included, and the rate is $0.00

When MIL tried to call, it complains the balance was too low. I checked again and it should have been included. I chatted with OOMA and they said I need up upgrade to the $25.99 plan, but that is shown as $22.99 on their web site.

Anyway, I upgraded, the call went thought, but the bottom line there is a big disagreement between what they show on the web site. The plan names and plan prices do not match.

Most companies will honor the price THEY advertised, even if it is a mistake. Not a good business strategy for OOMA...

Yes. But the other party also needs WhatsApp. Better to go with Skype and pay 2.5¢/min because then you can call any number.
