Start here: [prices.appleinsider.com]

Click "place order" under adorama, no price showing.

I had to enter my address, then pasted the code... $100 off.

$969 with tax

MBP is $120 off for base 8/256, $150 for 8/521 and 8/1Tb and $200 for 8/2TB

I should just order the 16/1TB mini for $120 off and just not tell my wife. $1270 out the door...

(RAMmie, look away...)

...So thanks to jdc posting these deals, I now have two M1 Mac minis on their way: the 8GB/1TB unit scheduled for delivery tomorrow and a 16GB/1TB unit from Adorama which I was able to procure for only $80 more than I paid for the 8GB/1TB unit from Apple.

Who knows when the Adorama unit will arrive, but that doesn't worry me. Thanks to Apple's holiday season return policy, I can play with the first unit I ordered until Jan 8 - if I haven't received the second unit by then, surely it will be just around the corner. And as I am on vacation during the week between Christmas and New Years, I will have plenty of time to play with my new toy!

Life is good!

(OK, RAMmie, you can look back now.) smiley-laughing001

Tempting. I don't need to be on the cutting edge, but it's still tempting.

The biggest drawback is I would need to find an alternative to Photoshop.

Or you could pay the $10 month tax subscription.

Get both PS and LR -- if you are using PS for photo edting/retouching -- LR is better.

billions of LR presets for cheap... [creativemarket.com]

meh. Its no different than any other subscription. magazines, cable, wine of the month, all those years of national geographic, landlines, fax paper, pagers, second landlines, 10¢ for pay phones, and on and on and on.

$10 a month for the worlds most powerful software seems.... small. =)

Ok, you convinced me. I'll get a subscription--but only if I can use YOUR money. wink smiley

But seriously, if I actually needed Photoshop then I would already have a subscription. I really don't need it. I use PS because I have an old version but I don't do anything with it that I couldn't do with Affinity Photo for $50 or Gimp for free.

There’s always Photoshop Elements, too. Ninety-nine bucks, perpetual license.

If I win lotto, promise to buy everyone a years worth of photoshop =)
