Trying to upload a 57k jpg file to my files and the site is telling me. "The file you attempted to upload exceeds the maximum upload size. Please do not upload files larger than 500k"

Are you space limited overall ? Might have too many other files. I assume the phorum has a personal storage limit.

Nope. I deleted 700k worth of stuff. Still get the error.

I think there must be a problem with the file.

....you're gonna' need a bigger..........

I get that.every.single.time I try to upload a photo - and I don't have tons uploaded already - zip, nada, zilch.

It's a low res Photoshop jpg.

It would be lovely if the system told you to rename the file rather than saying it is too big!

From my iPad, it will never take a jpeg...because it’s a “.jpeg” I think, and not a “.jpg”.

It will, however, take a “.png”. Unfortunately, those are usually larger, so I have to be careful not to go over the limit.
