Agreed, this is the fastest way to bring up that same toolbar that is now in the Screenshot app. Any settings made will become the default then for command-3 and command-4 (and Command-4 Spacebar and Command-4 Spacebar then holding down Control key to place the screenshot in the Clipboard)
