M1 Mini Bluetooth falling short... will this help?

So... the 20' connection to my stereo, which my iMac made with ease, my Mini is struggling to make. Would an external Bluetooth adapter help?

Edit: I just moved the BT receiver 1 foot and it connected instantly.

Sorry, looks like not. WiFi only for Mac, no Bluetooth.
