Instead of PVC Cement, can I use these connectors?

I want to replace the check valves on the Sump Pump and I was about to buy L and T PVC connectors and primer, cement, etc.

Then it occurred to me that I may need to redo some of these at some point if I want to replace the pumps or if the check valves fail. So instead of permanent cement connections, can I use these non-permanent adapters?

1-1/2 in. Flexible PVC DWV Tee

1-1/2 in. x 1-1/2 in. PVC DWV 90-Degree Mechanical Elbow

Non-Potable Water,Sewage: Check
Maximum working pressure (psi); 4.3 Check (that is equivalent of 10 feet water column, and I only need to push the water out exactly 8 feet, maybe less depending how high these end up above floor).

This should work, right? Thanks

The Tee has a listed working pressure of 4.3 psi. Not sure what your sump pump puts out but it's probably close to twice that at the pump discharge.

PVC and glue is cheap. Leave enough room so you can cut it out and swap it out later.

So are the PVC pipes. Less than a buck around here for a T fitting or a section of pipe. Just use the pipe cement.

It’s not about the cost. It is about the convenience of opening hose clamps instead of cutting pipes.

The potential inconvenience of cleaning up the water after one of those joints comes apart should be on your mind instead. The joints are really meant for use in a drain system, not the type of usage you are planning. The static pressure of a 10 foot water column is not the same as the dynamic pressure and pressure pulses the joint would be subject to while the pump is active.

Use cemented joints.

If you are worried about replacement, use a union. Once you want to change it out, just unscrew it. [www.amazon.com]
