The last two weeks have been a fog. I am pretty sure I did some exercise but not much. There are recollections of too much sugar intake. I need to get back into the swing of things this week.

Missed one day of pedaling for thirty minutes followed by a 10k row. Had to run errands one morning. If I don't exercise in the morning, it doesn't happen.

Came to a realization. I watch either a Great Courses lecture or lynda.com course while pedaling. Listen to an audiobook while rowing.

It's hard to imagine setting aside a half-hour block just to watch a lecture. Also, without something to watch—and the feeling that I'm learning something—I would not use the recumbent exercise bike nearly as often. Similarly, I would never just sit down to listen to an audiobook, nor would I just row for an hour with just the sound of the machine and my breathing. The combination of listening to a book while rowing is extremely motivating.

Two decent workouts. About as much as I can get in with this weather, lack of sunlight, and not being able to hit the gym.

Been trying to keep the calories down to compensate. Managing that pretty well, even over Xmas.

I've been solo salsa dancing to DJs playing live on Facebook.

And we should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once.

15 miles of walking. Great weather along the Rio Grande! Not so much up north in Minnesnowta.

Saint Cloud, Minnesota, where the weather is wonderful even when it isn't.

We starting renting a water rower, so far so good, and I think we will opt to buy when the time comes.

Also, I am planning on doing my 10,000 pushup challenge next year. If anyone wants to join in on their own the rules are simple, just complete 10,000 pushups over the course of 12 months. You choose full or knee, incline or whatever you are able to do.

This averages to 28 per day, but I'd recommend doing more if you can. That will allow you take a break or in case you forget. The challenge for me is really just keeping up with it.

I have a private FaceBook group for my non-MRF friends. If anyone is interested in joining that just PM me and I can send you an invite.
