That's alot more than most Hypercars, which usually measure fuel economy in gallons/mile.

Not bad indeed.

On the whole, though, I think manufacturers are electrifying the wrong end of their model ranges. Building a slightly more efficient version of already-efficient Corollas and Civics doesn't impress me much. If they were to build a hybrid or electric version of a Crown Vic, Caprice, or a REAL, USABLE, full-sized pickup truck (not just a cubist Ridgeline wannabe with impossible to repair stainless steel skin) with performance equivalent to or greater than the latest models, double the gas mileage if hybrid, and with a 350 mile or greater range, then I might be interested.

Our Prius doesn't go much further on a tank, and we seem to get by ok. I don't think the Rimac is meant to be a "practical" car though. What it does, it seems to do pretty well.

Or a big SUV. Lots of room for a battery in a Suburban.

In a normal supercar, you can only hear the screaming of the engine.
In an electric supercar, you can only hear the screaming of the driver.”

Another Ridgeline clone, but a seemingly much more realistic and real-world appealing concept than the Stainless Steel Muskmobile.

Rivian has been quietly killing it. They've had very impressive demos, they have good people on it, and unlike Nikola they own their IP. They have manufacturing facilities and supply chains in place. They've been conservative about taking on debt and new investors and in their delivery-targets, considering how rapidly they've grown. They have the backing of multiple car companies.

This is not the next Tesla. This is the 21st century's "Dodge Brothers."

If they were a public company, I'd own the stock.

Agreed. Can’t even make a functional website.

curious, what browser are you using that the site doesn't function?
it works fine with Ffox.
Definitely not as stable with Safari.

It’s the design, not the browser. The design of the site makes it hard to figure out where the information I want to see is.
