Guessing the Billionaire Genius will refuse to hire a Real GM for the Cahboys! He makes Million$ on the team every year, win or lose, and the only Championship that matters to JJ is the one JJ gets credit for! More mediocrity for the foreseeable future!

"All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing." - Edmund Burke
“Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented." - Eli Weisel

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." - Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"I don’t want to see religious bigotry in any form. It would disturb me if there was a wedding between the religious fundamentalists and the political right. The hard right has no interest in religion except to manipulate it." - Billy Graham 1981

"Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise" - Barry Goldwater

Jets still in the running with the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes, either way Sam Darnold isn't going to have a pleasant off season.

They have to hope that Jacksonville doesn’t want him.

It was tough deciding on who to cheer for in the DAL/NYG game. Literally my two least favorite teams. But I actually hate the Cowboys more, so I was happy with the outcome.

Justin Herbert is still bossin' out there. He's a helluva QB.

... of course back to back sacks as I typed.

The jets would be better off drafting the offensive lineman from Oregon .

Bring it on!

Great game against the 49ers today. That match-up never fails.

The Rams have Quarterback uncertainties, but hopefully, they'll get it done. I didn't get to see the 'hawks/49ers game.

What, no one watching the Vikings-Lions with bated breath? (Totally inconsequential game with neither going to the playoffs.)

I was, but only because I was there shooting it. wink smiley

Either those were two super-quick sacks or it took you a really long time to type that sentence. Or both.

Turns out they were just momentary setbacks. Mr Herbert had himself a stellar season.

If he doesn't go down the rabbit hole that swallowed Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, he should have a great career - but he won't last three seasons with their present offensive line.

But Andrew Luck has made tens of millions of dollars. It was all totally worth it.

Andrew Luck worked his butt off so he owed Colts fans zippo.

It wasn't Luck, it was the teams failure to protect him that ended his career early - Chargers are faced with a similar situation, hopefully they've learned something about protecting their QB.

All people can do is the best they can. That's all you can ask of them. The Chargers despite Lynn being fired, have definitely improved. But who knows what'll happen since those guys are likely gone. Ultimately, the Chargers main problem is its relatively brokeass owner, Alex Spanos' boy Dean. He and Raiders owner Mark Davis aren't wealthy enough to own those teams even with the caps. They'll probably never be great until they no longer own them.

The Cowboys have the opposite problem. The helicopter owner.
