Macy’s store closures 2021

The following stores are slated to close by the end of Macy’s first quarter, which ends April 30, 2021.

Crystal Mall, Connecticut
Port Charlotte Town Center, Florida
Volusia Mall, Florida
Greenbriar, Georgia
Hyatt Regency (Maui, Hawaii)
Grand Teton Mall, Idaho
Water Tower Place, Illinois
College Mall, Indiana
Independence Center, Missouri
Northpark Mall, Missouri
West Park Mall, Missouri
Sangertown Square, New York
White Plains Galleria, New York
Great Lakes Mall, Ohio
Richland Mall, Ohio
Tri-County Mall, Ohio
Marlow Heights, South Carolina
The Avenue Carriage Crossing, Tennessee
Old Hickory Mall, Tennessee

Previously announced Macy’s closings

Some stores have already closed or will close in the coming weeks. The Lima, Ohio store is scheduled to close by the end of April.

Closed Macy’s stores

The following stores recently closed with the Colorado and Delaware stores converting to omni service centers.

Bloomingdale’s Medinah Temple, Illinois
Oakbrook Furniture, Illinois
Woodfield Furniture, Illinois
Commack, New York
Eastland Furniture Clearance, Ohio
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

I just walked up to the Cambridge store, not knowing it had already closed. Crap.

Still 2 within 59 miles of me that remain open, not that it matters as I haven't ever shopped there. The closest one is in a mall where Sears used to have a store, they may be benefitting from not having a semi-competitor in the place.
