FYI is doesn't work on macOS Sierra (10.12). 10.13.6 or higher.

Neither does 1Password.

May be time to upgrade - if I can skip APFS (I got some apps not compatible). I have other Macs around.

I don't have complicated taxes per se, but there are still quite a few forms to fill out and opportunities for simple math errors. I pay $15 for Block to fill in all the boxes and check the math. I can be done and filed inside 60 minutes once I have my supporting documents at hand.

We've been using FreeTaxUSA for the past several years. Best price I've found (free for fed, ~$15 for state) and has been great for us, including my Schedule C, etc.
