Yeah, got my $4 bet in. It's a cheap dream.

I miss our work group.. we funded a lottery pool whenever it went over $100M. The pool once won $20K. We each got about $200 after taxes and whatnot. It was fun. The bar that night got a lot of the money.

Can't do it now because we all work from home.

When it hit $800M a few years back the office group pitched in $5 a piece. I think we got a total of $6 back. The fun part was the VP of Engineering and her immediate underling pitched in as well - on the theory that if we'd hit nobody under them would return to the office.
