If I were getting a new WFH monitor, this would be the front-runner.

For the price, that's a good value. At the same time, I'm not sure if it's worth 7 times as much as LG 7300 series IPS 43" 4k TV.

I mean, right now I'm using a Vizio 40" 4K, and it's pretty good--a bit dim at the edges, but usable. The LG would probably be an upgrade; when I go back to work at the office, I'll probably be getting one for there.

It would be nice to have something curved, though. I'm not sure it's worth the extra $1,800 for my uses (mostly text editing).

IMHO it's at least 4X too expensive. Pass.

...more than I'm willing to pay for a monitor, and I'm not at all in the market for an UW monitor.

But for that is, it doesn't seem too pricey.

Like I said in the last post, an extra-wide version of a 32" 4K display. It has decent color and less color shift because of the curve, but that's it.

Price does seem high. But plenty of good features if one landed on your desk without a bill to pay!

As Ive stated before... the whole single screen thing doesn't work with my workflow...

Id rather have 2 27" LG 5Ks, with true "5K" high resolution...

Cannot run that setup with the latest M1 laptops.

True...I didn't know we were discussing M1 laptop options.

You could used a display link and 2 non 5K screens -- or pickup a pluggable display dock and get 2 4K screens.

2 good 4K screens (27 or 32") + dock would be well under $1000.

But not as curvy!

I do not know why there is such a polar view on UW displays on this board - I really like our curved Dell 34" that's not even retina (was pressed into service by my family, so it's not my main system). I like it, AND I like and appreciate dual/triple displays set ups, too.
