Philip Rivers retiring from football after 17 seasons in NFL

Great stats except he never made it to "the big dance".
Colts now in the hunt for a QB, again!

He could still keep going but he has probably had enough hits. He has ten children or something like that. Maybe he wants to move on with his life and help his spouse.

When the Chargers threw Drew Brees under the bus for Philip Rivers … he proved to be a durable QB. Brees proved to be a winner - and probable HOF QB.

Well, now Philip can get back to what doing what he does best. Make more kids.

Phillip Rivers and Antonio Gates were a very very very lethal combination. They just couldn't quite build enough of a team around them.

He joins a few of HOF QBs who never saw a Super Bowl - odd that He and Dan Foutes both worked for the same team. Baseball team seems to have the same issue.

Must be the water in San Diego.
