MR Forum Fit Club

To encourage fitness goals, share experiences, educate and uplift each other.

If you haven't started yet, you are welcome at anytime.

Share as much or as little as you want with the group.

Starting out doesn't need to be a big step, just take that step.

Just dive right in!

Got in 2 upper body workouts but my carb and sugar consumption were dismal. I hope to get back to three workouts this week. I wonder of the cold and snow has to do with the whole carb craving thing.

SSSSHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh..................

I cracked the code to lose (some) weight.

.......

No, it's not waste valuable punctuation like Newt does....... (sheesh)........

Just eat less, you idiot. Yeah, I'm trying that now and it stupid seems to work.

Whatever...

Down 4-5 lbs since mid Dec.

Also added weights to my walks, currently 4lb ones but need to get a pair of 6lb as the 4s are too easy. Already have 8 and 10lbs but I think the 8s will be a little too heavy just yet to keep moving for a 3-4 mile walk.

3.3 mi/day this week, a little lower than usual but finished Jan as the highest monthly daily average since Oct 2019, which NOT coincidentally is when the distance tracker changed its distance estimate for the exact same walk down by about 15-20%.

Eating a giant cookie from the bakery as I type this... smiley12

Up to 1600 pushups for the year. Got another 3Km on the rower. Started doing squats with a 35lb kettlebell (hold with both hands between legs), sets of 25 spaced throughout the day.

Gosh, I’m really impressed with all of you. Inspire, even, just not enough to eat less - which I already do.

21.6 miles of walking last week.
