This works well for me.

Also, a hot steamy shower or hold your head over a pot of boiling water to get the steam.
Also a neti pot.

I lived on Flonase after getting allergies and sinusitis while living in TX. Now that I am back up north I no longer have to take it daily.

Are you sure? I think I have trigeminal neuralgia and at first I thought sinusitis too. Neurologist is hoping it’s shingles but I can tell he thinks it’s TN. Bad pain that moves all over one side of my face and head, but mainly near the nose and upper jaw. It’s not enjoyable and nothing has really helped it. I normally use spicy broth, Flonase, Tylenol, and maybe fexofenadine for allergies, and none of them helped.

Recipe, that is very close to my symptoms. The issue in my case is how it has not changed much over a few weeks now.

Does it move at all? Apparently it can still be TN if it doesn’t. There's an atypical form. The attempted treatment is very different and regular pain meds don’t really help. I was kind of surprised when we came up with this, because it did seem like sinus pain except that normal interventions didn’t help. That and when I sneeze, it’s just clear water.

IF you have an infection, you may NEED antibiotics. I hate to suggest the obvious, but go see a dr.

Yeah, thanks, it's kind of a flu, so I'm going to do that.

Should have mentioned that. I never had any "illness " fever or chills. If you do, yes, you probably need a doctor to check you out,

Yeah, although I've had the sinus pressure and pain for weeks before feeling like this. Just that symptom alone.

Hmm. I had evening aches in my sinus area a few nights at a time, and then it’d gradually go away. Now it’s constant. I guess it’s a flare. The drug given for TN is working, and nothing else has, so I think it’s likely.
