Vinegar can help with some stomach issues. Counter-intuitive, but it works for some people.

Here's a random recipe, but straight-up teaspoon-full works too.

Stop looking at Brady holding yet another SuperBowl trophy. Think about _anything_ else.

Ha! I've taken these. They help with what I would term "overeating." Ahem. Some relief for bloat. They do seem to work fairly well.

The other thing that is just stupidly simple is to take some fennel seed and chew on it. I spit out the hulls, but I think it's fine to eat them.

I use crystallized ginger myself, or ginger ale containing real ginger.

When that doesn't work, I take prescription Reglan, but would prefer not to, since long term use of Reglan can cause a permanent, irreversible movement disorder.

If symptoms are prolonged or don't respond to OTC treatments, see your doc.

I assume that it's chronic or else not worth posting.

Gonna throw this out there that others haven't covered yet (cbelt3 kinda touched on it): If this is going on for 3 days or more, talk to your doctor.

Might be something other than your gut. For example, an inner-ear problem. In such a case, Antivert (prescription) or Dramamine (non-prescription) may be the solution.

Agreed with the others here -- talk to your doc, but if it's only rarely and the doc can't find anything wrong, I can personally vouch for the crystallized ginger.

My favorite is this stuff -- HIGHLY addictive, if you like ginger: [www.amazon.com] ... I brought this stuff into my office one day, introduced a student to it, and the contents of the bag were gone within a day or so. (Students are always hungry, but this was crazy!)

I've talked to my doctor. He prescribed two medicines that are involved with serotonin, which I have had trouble with, so I won't take them.

I concur with the ginger route. I deal with nausea a lot due to Crohn's. My two favorites are Hansen's Natural Ginger Ale, the ginger chews from Trader Joes. I also find relief from peppermint...just sucking on an Altoid will do if I'm in the car or otherwise busy.
