Reminds me of a Jag E-type. The roofline is better than the E imho.

Sexy, yes, but “beast”, no.

The Elite Type 14 had only a 1.2 Liter engine and weighed only 504 Kilo.

For comparison, the 1963 Corvette had a 5.4 Liter engine and weighed 1,525 Kilo.

Cool car, but I sincerely doubt that is an original color. The color scheme doesn't work for me, especially the contrasting hardtop.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

would be a fun EV conversion. Add a little umph to the gutless drivetrain it has currently.

S relative of mine who sold them says the main purchasers were rich kids who promptly went out and smacked up their 'first car'. They then graduated to more powerful cars (and totaled those, too).

The bidding counted down to "0" just after I clicked on the link, saving me from a decision that would have led me to bankruptcy and a possible divorce.

What a beauty!

Oh no! It's counting back down again! Somebody stop me!
