Found the gif in a search. Truck belongs to Cara Donna, a New England
based food distributor. Don't know the exact location of the bridge.

No Bubba, it won't buff out...

I verbally blurted out some words one probably wouldn't say at church after watching that gif.

Hopefully the driver wasn't hurt badly. Probably not if he/she had a seatbelt fastened. No doubt had to put on clean underwear and pants though.

I-90 in the middle of South Dakota, a route I frequently traveled by truck, had a road overpass hit by a truck crane. The overpass was fairly high, perhaps 15 feet. The impact lifted and moved the bridge over a foot or so. The underpass was closed for months because they had to wait for warmer weather to do the replacement. Fortunately for traffic, there were on/off ramps so they closed the road that used the bridge and had all I-90 traffic go up and down the ramps, no need to stop at the top of the ramp (local traffic that typically used the ramps had to find other freeway access). That had to be an expensive fix.

Saint Cloud, Minnesota, where the weather is wonderful even when it isn't.

The YouTube video has quite the run up, this should start right before (~1:12).

Aug 2015. The bridge has been reconstructed, and the road widened (with sidewalks for pedestrians!) since then. Whether the Franklin commuter rail line was graded to raise the rails, or the road regraded to lower the roadway, is not clear from the pictures.

It looks like they may have used support girders that were not as high as the original I-beams, and the new bridge has a longer span. That and a reduced thickness of the deck could have gained a foot or more of clearance. How the rest of the 2' 9" of increased clearance was accomplished is, as you say, not clear.

That was rather spectacular.

Looks like they re-graded the road a bit, hard to tell, but they definitely repaved and put in sidewalks!
