I like the show, so kill me.

You don't, I don't care.

The salient part is that Feeling Good plays through the opening scene and a few to follow.

There are several versions of Feeling Good (I even like typing the name) and I love 'em all.

(If I'm honest, Legend's recent performance paled for me, other than it was an appropriate choice.)

But this is Nine Simone, and it's the greatest version ever.

She wasn't the first to perform it, but I believe she was the first to record it, and she owned it from then on.

While I don't often care about the origins of the song, I first heard it back in '65-'66 when a got her album I Put a Spell on You.

Much later, when scrutinizing my Goldfinger album, I discovered it and Feeling Good were both written by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley.

I know, right?!

Her version was mentioned here as being used on another TV show (Magnum P.I.?).

Somewhat recently, another version on another TV show was used, so I dusted off an AAC and let her's blast through a HomePod.

God, I love that song.

Every time I here it, I'm like those two YouTube kids who listened to Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight.

We now return you to your normal program, already in progress.

I am that Masked Man.

All you can do, is all you can do.

There’s trouble — it's time to play the sound of my people.

Your boos mean nothing to me, I've seen what you cheer for.

Insisting on your rights without acknowledging your responsibilities isn’t freedom, it’s adolescence.

I've been to the edge of the map, and there be monsters.

We are a government of laws, not men.

Everybody counts or nobody counts.

When a good man is hurt,
all who would be called good
must suffer with him.

You and I have memories longer than the road that stretches out ahead.

There is no safety for honest men except
by believing all possible evil of evil men.

We don’t do focus groups. They just ensure that you don’t offend anyone, and produce bland inoffensive products. —Sir Jonathan Ive

An armed society is a polite society.
And hope is a lousy defense.

You make me pull, I'll put you down.

I *love* SIGs. It's Glocks I hate.
