I was doing some deep cleaning work today. The kind of work that creates billowing clouds of dust. I turned on my air filter, but it just wasn't keeping up and was too far away.

I was thinking, 'geez, I wish I had some kind of mask that could use to...'

slaps forehead, puts on a mask and gets back to work...

When the weather was below zero, I walked my dog wearing my COVID mask.

Worked quite well to keep the bitter cold off my face.

I was thinking kind of the same thing recently with respect to our summer fire season.

Great for cleaning the car litter box too.

I dont keep a litter box in the car, but if I do, I'll be sure to remember this...

I found the masks now around the house handy for doing yard work when taking the electric pruning shears across the bushes, and also when getting rid of old mulch and replacing with new. Like said above, masks keep my face warmer when out walking when it's cooler weather. On my bike rides, when riding thru the an occasional cloud of gnats, makes it handy not getting any flying into mouth or nose! Handy them masks...

When we move hay these days, we are never without a cloth mask at the very least! No more days of coughing...

with my grass allergy, that would just kill me... if I ever come to visit, please don't ask me to help.

It’s hard on both of us allergic people. We now hire people to unload and stack 10 tons of hay each year. It’s worth the cost! It’s only when that gets low and we need to move it to the first floor... we need to toss and sweep.
