There are lots of video for cats out there, but none have kept my little kitty in a constant state of rapture like this one. I put it on and went to make some food and clean dishes - came back 15min later and her eyes were still glued to the TV.

Little mice come out of that hole, run around a bit, grab a snack and go back - it's THE BEST she says. Who am I to argue?

I'll have to try it. One of our cats does the weirdest thing. Whenever the weather comes on the local news, he starts making strange meowing noises. Almost a chirping sound. We figure it's got something to do with the green screen they use.

that sounds like the 'I see prey' chatter

when the entire background is still and only one thing moves (like a mouse on a table top or a weatherperson in front of a stationary map) they see prey.
